AL-ZAINI HEADS QATAR DELEGATION TO WORLD JUNIORS ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIP IN CANADA Print E-mail

 THE the QAAF president Abdullah Al-Zaini along with a delegation of Qatari officials will travel on 19 July to  Canada to participate in the world juniors athletics championship during 19-25 July.  The delegation includes also Mr. Khalifa Abdulmalik, QAAF Executive Director, Mr. Mohamed Suleiman, four coaches and one massager. The Qatari athletes who will compete in this championship are 5 who could reach the specified standards of this world event. They are: Moataz Barsham and Khalid Saeed (high jump), Hamza Dariyoush (800m), Mohamed Al-Qarni (1500m), Mohammed Al-Mannai (decathlon), and Saif Sabah (110m hurdles). Our Qatari promising athletics stars are expected to achieve good results in this event especially Moautaz in the high jump where he could break the Asian record in the past Asian championship in Vietnam with 2.31m beating the 2.26m record made in in the previous version of this world event.   Mohamed Al-Qarni and the other Qatari competitors are expected to have their prints clear during this event.
