Qatar Various Age Groups Teams Travel to Poland for Athletics Training Camps Print E-mail

Within the plan of the QAAF for the development of technical standards for teams of age groups (males and females), teams will travel on Saturday, 10 July to participate in training camps organized by the QAAF in Poland for the period from July 10 to Aug 8. Sixty three athletes (males) will participate in the camp and (13 female athletes). The delegation of men is headed by Mr. Yacoub Yusuf Abdullah, QAAF Board Member, and the administrators: Mr. Yasser Sayadi , Khalid Al-Omari and Sedeeq Muhammad, while the women delegation is headed by Ms. Mariam Al-Iesihaq QAAF, Board  Member, Director of the Centre for Girls and the administrators at: Dalal Al-Abdullah and Ahlam Al Faraj.

Mr. Khalifa Yousef Abdul Malik, QAAF executive director of the national teams, that the delegation had been prepared within the training camp to participate in several meetings and events in athletics in Poland in order to gain them more experience and exposure to international atmospheres and to provide a competitive environment to motivate them into setting new records to Qatar. The QAAF aimes in organizing these camps to prepare and qualify athletes to supplement the national teams in the categories of juniors and seniors in the future to participate in the international events.
