The QAAF Discussion Committee for the Agreement with Aspire Holds a Preparatory Meeting Print E-mail

The QAAF Discussion Committee for the Agreement with Aspire held a meeting for studying the terms of the cooperation and partnership agreement to be signed between the QAAF and the Academy of Sports Excellence (ASPIRE). The preparatory meeting focused on discussing the terms of the agreement between the parties, which included several topics dealing with aspects of cooperation, coordination and administrative responsibilities, technical, regulatory, advisory and working mechanisms for the selection and preparation of training classes for the age categories of Al Amal, mini-cadets and cadets as well as the national teams of youth, men, and girls. The discussions also covered the preparation of strategic plans for national teams and coordination between the parties to provide all the requirements and needs of the athletes in terms of tuition, nutrition, housing and the provision of stadiums and training camps and incentives. The discussion committee will submit its recommendations to His Excellency the President of the QAAF for his considerations and will hold a meeting with the Director-General of the Academy of Sports Excellence (Aspire) to discuss the terms of the agreement then sign on the implementation of its provisions. The committee included the following officials:
